Icon Realty, Inc. was created out of the idea that buyers deserved more than we saw them receiving from many buyer's agents. In the year 2000 Jason Betsill elected to start his own brokerage. The brokerage laid somewhat dormant throughout the years and only operated minimally in a few transactions. During this time Jason spent his days operating and managing a large homebuilding company. Jason's day to day responsibilities involved negotiating purchase contracts and overseeing construction. Each transaction was a learning experience that led to the idea of actually beginning to represent Buyers in transactions. The thoughts came to mind : Who else better to represent a home buyer than individuals who have grown up in and around construction their entire lives? Who would have more knowledge of a great location (including the lot characteristics, schools, etc.) than a homebuilder by trade? Who would have a better idea if a home was of quality construction than a homebuilder by trade? Who would have better knowledge of the contract process than a homebuilder by trade who has successfully negotiated over seven hundred contracts?
We looked at these questions and we knew the answers. We then decided that the time was right to open up Icon Realty, Inc. and let individual home and land buyers know who we are, what we believe, and how we want to assist them in getting the knowledge and quality of service they deserve. All we ask is for just one chance to show you our level of dedication to treating you like we would want to be treated if we were looking to purchase a home or a vacant tract of land.
